I feel like I can finally get into the winter spirit. October was nice, leaves changing, weather cooling, however today really brought in the new season…in my opinion. The biting cold, forcing me to dig out my scarf, gloves, and turtleneck was so refreshing! I’m not really a warm weather person, I’m always pretty cold anyway so I figure why not really enjoy it with cozy sweaters, vanilla spice candles, and egg nog lattes? Which, by the way, I had my first taste of today and it was soooo good! I didn’t exactly get around to making my own egg nog lattes, but I did have an excellent one today from Starbucks.
I can’t believe Thanksgiving is less than 3 weeks away, where does the year go? Only yesterday I was graduating and getting married! Time flies when you have a life I guess. Especially when you have a life and work at the same time. I spend so much time at work, it seems ridiculous sometimes how much of our lives are spent working so we can make money just so we can live. Its a good thing I like my job =o)
I did it. Finally. I just couldn’t take it anymore.
There is now a gallon of egg nog residing in our fridge. It looks so beautiful, I hate to open it. Today is the day. See ya soon!
